LCS – Lab Compaction System
Fitzpatrick’s new LCS – Lab Compaction System was on display at the Show and drew a lot of attention. Affording scalable benchtop high-performance dry granulation with production-scale capability, the LCS is designed and delivered by the most trusted name in roller compaction technology for more than seventy years.
The LCS processes powders with the same pressure as larger production-scale roller compactors. This ensures your development projects can progress from the lab to production with confidence. The LCS is a low-volume benchtop system for R&D and trial batch production.
SDx™ Series Production-Scale Powder Processing Exchangeable Platform
The SDx™ Series from Fitzpatrick & Quadro is the next generation in powder processing and size reduction. It is one of the world’s most advanced production-scale milling and screening platforms offering three distinct processing solutions on a single, common drive.
The SDx™ Series affords the ability to easily transfer between production-scale Quadro® Comil® conical milling, FlexSift security screening, and Fitzpatrick hammer milling. Thanks to its SMARTdetect™ technology, head recognition and RPM range adjustments are made automatically, providing the ability to change heads in seconds, thereby improving production efficiency.
The new SDx™ Series offers three functionalities on one platform, providing the lowest long-term cost of ownership when compared to the purchase of individual units.
How INTERPHEX 2022 Compares To Earlier Years
The number of visitors to our booth over the three days of the Show was high, with many customers stopping by to say hello, and to discuss active projects.
We look forward to following up with new contacts and being able to provide equipment demonstrations & product testing to validate our capabilities at our new Technology Centre in Waterloo, ON, Canada. Positioned alongside the IDEX MPT manufacturing facility, the Centre offers a range of possibilities for our customers to fulfil their application requirements.

“The LCS – Lab Compaction System was definitely the highlight of the Show for IDEX MPT. This is the first time the LCS has been seen in the Americas, and it proved to be a major draw. Interest emanated from people curious about the technology in general, as well as from individuals familiar with Fitzpatrick roller compactors who were lured by the appeal of the new truly benchtop model.
Several visitors were familiar with other benchtop machines on the market. It was easy to highlight the significant performance improvements the LCS offers to these researchers”.
